Starting from Chiang Khong to Luang Prabang.
DAY 1 Chiang Khong - Houay Xai - Pakbeng Village
07:00 a.m.
> Pick you up from the hotel in Chiang Khong to Thailand Immigration checkpoint for departure check-out.
> Cross to Laos border by shuttle bus.
> Grant arrival visa and check in passport at Lao Immigration checkpoint, Houay Xai.
> Transfer to slow boat pier by Share tuk-tuk.
09:00 – 09:30 a.m.
> Embark slow boat to Pakbeng,
> Evening about 04:00 – 05:00 p.m. Arrive in Pakbeng village.
Remark: Departure time on the first day might be delayed
Approximately travel: 7-8 hours by boat ride.
DAY 2 Pakbeng Village - Luang Prabang
08:00 – 08:30 a.m.
> Walk down to slow boat dock. (Different boat from the 1st day but based on the same standard)
09:00 a.m.
> Depart from Pakbeng village to Luang Prabang.
> Evening Arrive in Luang Prabang slow boat pier.
Remark: For safety matter, please recheck with the Pakbeng dock for departure time of Pakbeng to Luang Prabang when you arrived in Pakbeng Village.
Normally, the boat departs on-time.
Approximately travel: 7-8 hours by boat ride.
Inclusion
> Transfer from Hotel to Thai immigration Checkpoint.
> Shuttle bus cross the 4th Friendship Bridge from Thailand to Laos.
> Transfer from Houay Xai border to slow boat pier by local Tuk Tuk.
> Slow boat ticket from Houay Xai to Luang Prabang (2 days).
